Its mission is to contribute to and promote the conservation of biological diversity—especially within Peru’s National System of Natural Protected Areas (ANP)—by conducting basic and applied scientific research to enhance knowledge of wildlife species and their habitats; supporting and collaborating with governmental, non-governmental, and private organizations in conserving threatened species and managing their habitats; and finally, supporting implementation of environmental education, training, and outreach activities to raise awareness about environmental conservation and protection of threatened species and their habitats. FZS Perú works long-term in protected areas and their surroundings across four Peruvian landscapes: Yaguas / Putumayo; Tambopata / Bahuaja Sonene; Purús; and Manu. #### **About the Position:** Coordinate and provide strategic and technical\-operational support to the Director in planning, managing, monitoring, and reporting on FZS Perú’s programs and projects, coordinating actions with FZS HQ, Landscape Managers, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment with the institutional strategy, donor commitments, and appropriate programmatic and financial execution of resources managed by the organization. #### **Your Responsibilities:** * Coordinate preliminary reviews of technical and financial reports for projects prioritized due to their scale and institutional importance. * Support Landscape Managers and the Administration and HR Department in monitoring and implementing agreements, including financial, administrative, human resource, and any other related matters to ensure timely and appropriate use of grant funds. * Collaborate with FZS Peru and FZS HQ staff in Germany to identify funding opportunities and help develop competitive, responsive proposals aligned with FZS Peru’s and its landscapes’ strategies, compliant with internal policies and donor requirements. * Jointly analyze with Landscape Managers risks and opportunities that may affect program and project implementation, proposing corrective or mitigation measures aligned with the institutional strategy. * Support Landscape Managers in developing FZS Peru’s annual proposals and budgets for submission to FZS HQ in Germany and other donors. * Coordinate definition, updating, and monitoring of baselines and indicators linked to FZS Peru’s strategic and specific objectives, liaising with responsible technical units and FZS HQ to ensure availability and quality of information required for decision-making. * Develop and monitor institutional operational management tools (e.g., Annual Operational Plans, tracking dashboards, milestone and deliverables schedules, etc.). * Coordinate quarterly reviews of project and program implementation with the team of Managers. * Coordinate with MEL HQ to implement biodiversity indicators and standard indicators for the institutional portfolio. * Support collective action platforms of FZS and its partners in monitoring their institutional impacts and results. * Monitor activities defined during SMT meetings. * Maintain open and continuous communication regarding any significant incident that impedes, halts, or jeopardizes normal activity implementation. * Ensure proper use of institutional inputs, materials, equipment, tools, and facilities, as well as those assigned to your responsibility. * Comply with and uphold the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations. * Actively collaborate on other tasks and activities assigned by the Director of FZS Peru. #### **Your Profile:** * Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related fields. * Master’s degree or specialization in Project Management, International Cooperation, Environmental Management, or Conservation is desirable. EXPERIENCE * Minimum 5 years’ experience preparing reports and proposals, and supporting supervision of project implementation. * Experience implementing Strategic Planning. * Experience coordinating teams and engaging with state and non-governmental partners and allies. KNOWLEDGE * Project and program management, including planning, monitoring, tracking, and closure. * Strategic planning and alignment with organizational objectives. * Financial and budgetary management applied to programs and projects. * Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL), indicator tracking, and information analysis for decision-making. * Implementation and monitoring of institutional strategies and results-based management. * Digital management tools (e.g., MS Project, Trello, Asana, etc.).
