**Your Role and Responsibilities**
In this role, you will have the opportunity to perform low-to-mid-complexity service work in accordance with work instructions and in compliance with ABB’s standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Each day, you will plan and execute work with a ‘right-first-time’ mindset, collaborating closely with customers. You will also demonstrate your expertise by showing a clear sense of urgency and accountability within your area of responsibility.
The working model for this position is: **Onsite**.
This role contributes to the **Electrification Business Area** in **Lima, Peru**.
**You will be primarily responsible for:**
* Working with the customer (during onsite visits) to identify opportunities for improvement in their operations and eliminate pain points.
* Performing field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and conducting analysis through remote or onsite activities across relevant service categories and product lines.
* Preparing required material lists for service activities and ensuring all materials, spare parts, and equipment are available and meet appropriate quality standards for such activities.
* Diagnosing equipment or process failures, requesting proactive corrective actions, and providing recommendations to prevent recurrence of such issues in the future.
**Qualifications for the Role**
* You hold a professional degree and are licensed/registered in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related fields.
* You have 3 or more years of experience in similar roles.
* You communicate fluently in intermediate-to-advanced English.
* You possess leadership, effective communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact with customers and cross-functional teams.
* You have solid knowledge of medium- and low-voltage product portfolios, including power and control equipment.
* You understand and apply international standards ANSI and IEC.
* Familiarity with NFPA 70 (NEC) is desirable.
* You are available for national and international travel.
