Job Summary: We are seeking a foreign trade professional to validate documentation, prepare import liquidations, and ensure compliance with customs regulations, thereby avoiding penalties and additional costs. Customer service orientation and task focus We are looking for a professional who meets the following requirements: Education: Course in Foreign Trade Minimum verifiable experience: 1 year RESPONSIBILITIES: * Review and validate original documentation submitted by the client — packing list, BL/AWB, insurance policies, certificate of origin, and other relevant documents — to prevent penalties. * Prepare import liquidations, applying applicable customs regulations and procedures affecting specific goods. * Determine the customs value in accordance with customs regulations. * Perform tariff classification and validation. * Number the DUA (Customs Declaration Form), previously endorsed by the Customs Inspector or Legal Representative. * Register information in SINTAD to prepare the customs declaration. * Coordinate with involved departments. * Ensure liquidations are completed within established timeframes to avoid additional costs, storage fees, or fines. * Alert stakeholders regarding potential risks of penalties or objections from customs authorities. * And other duties assigned as needed.
