Job Summary: We are seeking an Operations Coordinator - Transportation to manage vehicle scheduling, incidents, ensure operational continuity, and monitor vehicle maintenance. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manages fleet vehicle operations and maintenance 2. Supervises staff compliance with duties and procedures 3. Tracks driver and vehicle documentation A leading company specializing in the wholesale sale and distribution of construction materials across southern Peru is seeking top talent for the position of OPERATIONS COORDINATOR \- TRANSPORTATION, based in AREQUIPA. **REQUIREMENTS:** * Technical degree in Administration, Bachelor's degree in Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. * Minimum 2 years of experience as a fleet or operations coordinator. * Must reside in Arequipa, preferably in the Cerro Colorado district. * Intermediate-level Office proficiency. * Knowledge of logistics. * Familiarity with SAP. * Knowledge of traffic regulations. * Experience using GPS platforms. * Understanding of transportation and cargo sector procedures and operations. * Knowledge of traffic regulations. * Possession of a client portfolio for cargo transportation using semitrailer platform units. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** 1\. Properly schedule vehicles for each driver. 2\. Manage area-related incidents. 3\. Ensure vehicle operational readiness. 4\. Monitor vehicle maintenance status to assess availability. 5\. Review Excel forms to verify validity of driver and vehicle documentation and manage renewal procedures. 6\. Request monthly per diem allocation reports to verify absence of expense deviations. 7\. Audit per diem reimbursements to ensure timeliness per established procedures. 8\. Monthly report to Finance department on photo tickets and traffic violations. 9\. Supervise staff adherence to job duties and procedures. 10\. Verify that unit supervisors complete vehicle checklists and ensure observations are addressed with the Maintenance department. 11\. Approve local vehicle parking permits. 12\. Other duties assigned by management.
