At Buenaventura, we are currently seeking a Social Manager – Mining Unit:
**Main Responsibilities:**
Conduct social reading of the mining unit’s environment to monitor the social climate among the Operation’s stakeholder groups.
Support implementation of communication strategies defined by the Superintendent of Social Affairs to ensure messages reach the population and stakeholders appropriately.
Support execution and monitoring of the mining unit’s social commitments to help preserve stakeholders’ trust in the unit.
Support implementation of the unit’s sustainable development programs to strengthen harmonious relationships and coexistence with the surrounding environment.
**Professional Profile:**
Professional in Social Sciences, Negotiation and Conflict Resolution, or Social Responsibility.
Experience working with and engaging social groups in high Andean areas.
Intermediate-level Quechua language proficiency (not mandatory).
Willingness to work at a mining unit.
