Key responsibilities include: * Verifying compliance with current legal provisions: Law No. 29783, its regulation Supreme Decree No. 005-2012-TR (Regulation on Occupational Safety and Health), Supreme Decree No. 024-2016-EM and its amendment Supreme Decree No. 023-2017-EM, Sectoral Occupational Safety and Health Regulations, Stantec Regulations, and those specified by the Client for the assigned project. * Developing and implementing Stantec's Occupational Safety, Health, Environment, and Protection Management Program. * Advising operational departments on continuous improvement aligned with adopted regulations regarding safety, health, environment, and occupational protection. * Participating in internal and external audits to verify compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards. * Advising all involved departments in preparing and conducting emergency response drills. * Reviewing and updating safety, health, and environmental procedures and instructions, as well as ensuring their dissemination and compliance. * Advising the work team on the Incident Reporting and Investigation Process when applicable. * Organizing and delivering internal and external general induction, training, coaching, and awareness programs. * Developing safety, health, and environmental incident reduction programs or campaigns. * Conducting ongoing inspections of work areas and proposing continuous improvement measures where appropriate. * Preparing weekly and/or monthly safety, health, and environmental statistical reports. * Advising management on compliance with laws and internal and external policies related to safety, health, and environment. * Verifying and reporting compliance with Safety, Health, Environment, and Protection Policies. * Developing safety, health, and environmental proposals within technical and economic proposals for future projects. **Qualifications:** The job requirements are: * Licensed and registered professional engineer (mandatory) in Mining Engineering, Geology, Chemistry, Metallurgy, Hygiene and Safety, or Industrial Safety, or other specialties aligned with the nature of the work performed. * Proficiency in Google Earth and Power BI. * Intermediate-level English proficiency.
