**Position Summary:**

This role is responsible for implementing the Labor Relations strategy, overseeing compliance with WS (Workforce Services) \- Labor Relations guidelines, preventing general legal contingencies and potential joint liabilities. Report to and receive operational and functional guidance from the Labor Relations Leader and/or the Project WS Manager. Deliver training to representatives of contractors and subcontractors from offices and project sites. Review and supervise specialized contractors on matters related to labor management.
**Key Responsibilities:**
----------------------------------
* Interpret and administer collective bargaining agreements, enforce workplace rules, establish staffing requirements, and participate in labor contract negotiations.
* Collaborate with subcontractor representatives performing work on the construction project to ensure correct interpretation of labor contracts and uniform compliance with workplace rules.
* Determine necessary preventive and/or corrective actions to minimize labor issues that could trigger work stoppages and construction schedule delays.
* Conduct and/or provide guidance for informal and formal grievance hearings, in accordance with applicable union contractual procedures.
* Collaborate with local and regional union representatives to maintain cooperative relationships between workers and management on assigned construction projects.
* Manage labor relations activities on small- and medium-sized projects, including resolution of work stoppages.
* Represent the company before administrative authorities on labor matters. Prepare for and attend summonses and hearings, protecting the company’s interests.
* Represent the project in LR/IR/WFS activities—including employee investigations, disciplinary warnings, terminations, communications, and training/education.
* Lead moderately complex labor relations investigations and resolve labor disputes. Lead investigations into craft employee misconduct or other ER matters, and decide or approve appropriate disciplinary or corrective actions in accordance with workplace rules.
* Responsible for implementing craft process improvement programs at the site.
**Requirements: Education and Experience:**

* Requires a professional degree in Law, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related fields, supplemented by training in Labor Law, Human Resources, and Labor Relations, plus a minimum of 10\-13 years of relevant experience in similar roles (including supervision), preferably on large-scale, high-value, complex EPC/EPCM projects—or related to the construction industry—and in areas such as labor audits, responding to inspections by the Ministry of Labor or SUNAFIL.
* Experience developing plans and implementing processes and procedures.
**Required Knowledge and Skills:**

* In-depth knowledge of current Peruvian labor legislation—including the General Labor Regime and the Special Construction Industry Regime—as well as Occupational Health and Safety and Labor Supervision regulations.
* Knowledge of collective bargaining agreements signed by the construction industry sector.
* Intermediate spoken and written English (preferred).
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* High level of personal integrity.
* Willingness to work rotating shifts at remote site locations.
