We are bridging two worlds—advancing toward more sustainable energy sources while simultaneously helping to provide the energy, chemicals, and resources needed today. **Position Objective:** To produce Process discipline engineering ensuring safety and a high standard of quality in calculations and discipline deliverables, in accordance with design criteria, standards, and regulations. **Key Responsibilities** Performs calculation, design, and engineering production activities in alignment with projects assigned by the Discipline Lead. Complies with safety and quality criteria for Process discipline design, applying national, global, and client-specific standards, codes, and regulations for calculations. Participates in the review of technical and design specifications from potential equipment and machinery manufacturers and suppliers for mineral processing. Proposes and meets efficient and realistic deadlines for producing Conceptual Studies, Pre-Feasibility and Feasibility Studies, Basic and Detailed Engineering Designs, Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning and Operations Manuals, and technical/commercial proposals—depending on the scope assigned by the Discipline Lead. Meets requirements related to operational philosophy, budget, schedule, and deliverables, producing design deliverables such as P\&IDs, PFDs, Process Control Strategies, Commissioning and Operations Plans, and other documentation agreed upon with the client. May participate in testing activities such as Process Mapping—including Systems Mapping, Facility Checklists, Dry and Wet Testing, Operations Team Training, Start-Up, Process Ramp\-Up, Bottleneck Decongestion, and Start-Up Problem Resolution. Develops Value Engineering per the criteria set by the Discipline Lead, Engineering Manager, and Project Manager—depending on project scope and client needs. Ensures compliance with Worley’s Quality Assurance System and HSE System in the execution of assigned engineering work. **What will you bring?** **Software, processes, and tools:** * Specific Knowledge: Process Engineering in mineral processing, with focus on base metals. Experience in processing other metal types is valued. * Specific Experience: Minimum 10 years (Level II) of relevant professional experience, including at least 2 years in a similar role. Project Management skills and ability to work in a high-pressure global environment. * Academic Qualifications, Certifications, and Training: Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering field, with active registration at the College of Engineers of Peru (\#CIP). * HSE Skills: Actively promotes behaviors aligned with our LIFE value and applicable HSE policies for the Process discipline. * IT Skills: Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft suite (Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel), multiple calculation and design software (AutoCAD, Visio, etc.), and process simulation software (LIM, JK Simmet, METSIM, Bruno). * Personal Competencies: Strong oral and written communication skills expected. * Other Skills: Autonomy, entrepreneurial mindset within work, ability to operate effectively in a global environment. * Planning and Control Skills. Intermediate (+) level of English.
