The **Junior Engineer (level A)** role provides an excellent opportunity for early\-career professionals to develop technical expertise while working alongside experienced engineers and multidisciplinary project teams. In this role, you will contribute to engineering analyses, field investigation programs, technical reporting, design development, and construction quantity estimation for mining and civil infrastructure projects. You will gain hands\-on experience in engineering consulting while strengthening your analytical, technical, and professional skills. #### **This Role Will Give You the Opportunity To:** * Process, analyze, and interpret field investigation and laboratory testing data for engineering projects. * Support technical analyses related to geotechnical engineering, slope stability, seepage, consolidation, and settlement assessments. * Participate in field programs, including drilling campaigns, site investigations, and monitoring activities under project supervision. * Manage, organize, and process technical information received from laboratories, contractors, and external stakeholders. * Review and interpret laboratory and field test results such as grain size analyses, Atterberg limits, triaxial testing, SPTs, vane shear tests, and instrumentation data. * Support engineering design and evaluation of mining infrastructure, including tailings storage facilities, waste rock dumps, heap leach pads, access roads, and water management structures. * Prepare engineering calculations, technical memoranda, reports, and design documentation for review by senior engineers and project managers. * Develop quantity take\-offs, construction volume estimates, and material balance calculations for project components. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate engineering, environmental, social, and closure considerations into project designs. * Contribute to project coordination activities and support the successful delivery of engineering projects. #### **We Are Looking for Someone Who Has:** * Bachelor’s degree or recent graduation in Civil Engineering. * Two years of relevant experience in engineering consulting, mining projects, geotechnical investigations, or related technical work. * Knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles, field investigations, laboratory testing, slope stability, seepage, and earth structures. * Experience with engineering software such as GeoStudio (Slope/W, Seep/W), HEC\-RAS, HCANALES, S10, Global Mapper, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D. Experience with Muck3D is considered an asset. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Power BI, and MS Project. * Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical reports, manuals, diagrams, and specifications. * Intermediate English proficiency; Portuguese language skills are considered an asset. * A proactive attitude, strong problem\-solving skills, and commitment to continuous learning and professional development. #### **About Us:** Klohn Crippen Berger Ltd.
