PRE-PROFESSIONAL INTERN **Mission:** Support the Portfolio Managers and Investment Analysts team in monitoring financial markets, preparing reports, and executing operational tasks—contributing to the analysis and monitoring of Scotiafondos’ investments within the business’s guidelines and objectives. **What do we expect from you?** * Student in the 7th to 9th semester of Economics, Business Administration, Economic Engineering, or related fields. * Interest in capital markets, investments, and financial analysis. * Intermediate knowledge of finance and financial assets. * Intermediate knowledge of macroeconomics. * Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. * Analytical ability and attention to detail. * Interest in monitoring local and international financial markets. * Proactivity and willingness to learn in a dynamic environment. * Strong communication and teamwork skills. * Commitment and responsibility in handling financial information. **What challenges will you face?** * Assist in preparing reports and presentations for the Investment Management and General Management teams. * Monitor key economic and financial indicators in local and international markets. * Provide operational support in the mutual fund account opening process. * Handle financial and market information accurately and promptly. * Interact with various departments to ensure proper information flow and operational processes. * Develop an analytical perspective on market and investment product behavior. * Adapt to a dynamic, results-oriented financial environment with agile decision-making.
