We are currently seeking to hire a Procurement Analyst for our office in Peru: Main Responsibilities: * Negotiate international, maritime, and air freight rates at origin, as well as integrated logistics rates and contractual terms with logistics service providers. * Register rate files in company archives (Peru Procurement Archive) and maintain them updated and accessible to internal users. * Request cost estimates for services required to support commercial executives’ business opportunities. * Conduct periodic analysis of rates and origin/destination costs with local suppliers established for various traffic types, and negotiate the most favorable conditions for the company based on such analysis. * Provide technical advisory to internal users—commercial and operations teams—regarding relevant information needed to quote viable and cost-effective logistics solutions. * Conduct market research to develop new routes (rates, new suppliers) and identify new suppliers. * Analyze quotation outcomes to drive continuous improvement in negotiations. * Identify, qualify, and maintain new suppliers. * Other duties inherent to the position and/or assigned by direct management.
