Job Summary: QA Analyst responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated and manual tests, implementing test frameworks, and ensuring software quality for web and mobile applications. Key Highlights: 1. Design and execution of automated and manual tests to ensure quality. 2. Implementation of test frameworks and development of API tests. 3. Active participation in the software development lifecycle and continuous QA improvement. The Scientific University of the South, part of the Educa_d Group, is currently seeking top talent to fill the QA Analyst position, with the following characteristics: Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications, following defined functional and technical requirements, to ensure proper operation of technological solutions. - Implement and maintain automated test frameworks aligned with the institutional technology architecture, to optimize test coverage and efficiency. - Develop and execute API tests according to system technical specifications, to validate correct service integration and ensure data consistency. - Identify, document, and track defects detected during the testing cycle using established issue management tools, to ensure timely correction and prevent recurrence. - Actively participate in the software development lifecycle alongside the Fullstack team, integrating testing into defined workflows, to strengthen quality from early development stages. - Propose and implement continuous improvements to QA processes through test automation and optimization, to increase departmental operational efficiency. - Apply early error detection strategies throughout the development lifecycle, aligned with adopted agile methodologies, to reduce risks and production failure costs. - Integrate automated tests into continuous integration and deployment pipelines, following established DevOps guidelines, to ensure stable and reliable releases. - Execute performance, load, stress, and security tests according to defined technical standards, to guarantee sound management. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields - Valid professional license and active registration (preferred) - Minimum 3 years of experience in similar roles. - Experience with Selenium, Cypress, and/or Playwright - Knowledge of Gherkin language for test scenarios - Availability to work in a hybrid mode in Santiago de Surco.
