Technical support and IT infrastructure management TECHNICAL SERVICES ASSISTANT JOB REQUIREMENTS University degree, Bachelor's degree, and/or Technical degree in Systems, Computer Science, or related fields. Experience in positions of a similar nature; minimum of 2 years. Knowledge of ITSM disciplines. Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance and structured cabling. Advanced-level knowledge of computing and information technology. RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide technical and operational support to resolve hardware and software issues affecting the University's computer equipment. Execute the University's preventive maintenance schedule for computer equipment. Ensure operational status of computer equipment in classrooms, laboratories, workshops, and administrative areas of the University. Promptly address service requests from various University departments. Support the Head of Technical Services and Support in identifying emerging technological trends that contribute to the University's growth. Generate service reports and inform the immediate supervisor. Perform any other duties assigned or delegated by the Head of Technical Services and Support within the scope of applicable regulations.
