Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and strategic Technical Leader to drive the design, evolution, and modernization of legacy platforms, combining microservices development with container orchestration and infrastructure-as-code on AWS. Implement infrastructure on AWS using CloudFormation We are looking for one (01) proactive Technical Leader with strategic vision to lead the design, evolution, and modernization of our legacy platforms. The ideal candidate must combine expert-level proficiency in microservices development with Java and Spring Boot, along with hands-on experience in container orchestration (Kubernetes with containerd) and infrastructure-as-code on AWS. Their role will be critical in managing hybrid environments—configuring legacy on\-premise servers and ensuring a smooth transition toward scalable cloud architectures. **Work Modality:** 100% on-site in San Isidro **Working Hours:** Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Responsibilities **Leadership and Architecture:** Lead software design, ensure adherence to sound programming practices (SOLID, Clean Code), and oversee the team’s technical execution. **Microservices Modernization:** Design, develop, and optimize robust microservices using Java and Spring Boot to progressively replace dependencies in legacy systems. **Hybrid Configuration (On\-Premise):** Analyze, configure, and provide technical support for the organization’s legacy systems’ on\-premise servers and infrastructure. **Orchestration and Containers:** Administer and optimize Kubernetes clusters using containerd as the container runtime. **Cloud Infrastructure Management:** Implement, automate, and secure infrastructure deployment on AWS using CloudFormation templates and manage images in Amazon ECR. **Incident Management:** Lead assertive communication and technical resolution strategies for technical debt, incidents, or critical production outages. Mandatory Technical Requirements (Essential) **Backend Development:** Expert-level proficiency in microservices development with Java and Spring Boot. **Orchestration:** Proven experience configuring and operating Kubernetes environments with containerd runtime. **AWS Experience:** Advanced operational experience with cloud solutions focused on Amazon ECR (Elastic Container Registry) and automated infrastructure using AWS CloudFormation. **Traditional Infrastructure:** Hands-on experience maintaining and configuring on\-premise servers for legacy platforms. **APIs:** Advanced experience in designing, implementing, consuming, and securing REST APIs. 2\. Valued Competencies and Experience (Plus) **Migration Projects:** Active participation in decomposing monolithic or legacy architectures into microservices. **Telecommunications Sector:** Prior experience working in telecommunications companies or interacting with their infrastructure. 3\.
