Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced .NET developer to participate in system migration and modernization projects—from VB6 to VB.NET and ASP.NET MVC—ensuring quality and performance. At Stefanini, we are more than 30\.000 brilliant minds connected from 41 countries, doing what they love and co\-creating a better future. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Participate in system migration and modernization projects, specifically migrating VB6 solutions to VB.NET and ASP.NET MVC. * Analyze and understand the architecture of existing applications to plan and execute efficient migrations. * Design, develop, and maintain web applications using .NET Framework/ASP.NET MVC technologies. * Ensure code quality and adherence to software development best practices. * Identify and resolve technical issues in migrated applications, ensuring functionality and performance. * Collaborate with other developers, analysts, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success. * Document technical processes, implemented solutions, and changes made during the project. * Propose improvements and optimizations for migrated applications to align them with current standards. * Perform unit and integration testing to ensure software stability. * Participate in progress meetings and contribute innovative solutions to address project technical challenges. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Experience:** * Minimum 5 years as a developer in .NET environments. * Proven experience in application migration or new implementations in .NET environments. * Experience working with ASP.NET MVC or similar frameworks. **Technical Skills:** * Proficiency in VB.NET and C\#. * Advanced knowledge of ASP.NET MVC, .NET Framework and/or .NET Core. * Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server (design, queries, optimization). * Knowledge of design patterns and software development best practices. * Familiarity with version control tools such as Git. * Experience with unit testing and software quality methodologies. **Analytical Skills:** * Ability to understand complex systems and propose efficient technical solutions. * Ability to identify technical risks and plan mitigation strategies. **Education:** * Completed technical or university education in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields. **Others:** * Prior experience in technology modernization projects is desirable. * Knowledge of AI and prompting is desirable. * Strong communication and teamwork skills. **Additional Information** Are you looking for a place where your ideas shine?
