We are currently seeking an ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT. Requirements: - Certified and registered Public Accountant. - Diploma or Postgraduate degree in Accounting or related fields. - Minimum three (3) years of experience as an Assistant Accountant or in similar positions. - Intermediate Upper to Advanced level proficiency in English. - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office. - Knowledge of Accounting Systems (SAP). - Solid knowledge of Accounting Standards, Taxation, Cost Accounting, and tax return preparation. - Experience leading work teams. - Experience in Accounting Outsourcing. Responsibilities: - Adhere to the accounting closing schedule and reporting deadlines. - Review the SUNAT mailbox daily to verify receipt of any notifications. - Lead teams composed of analysts and assistants, and report to the manager or partner. - Review accounting entries prepared by staff under supervision. - Review company contracts related to revenues and expenses. - Approve journal entries, ensuring appropriate supporting documentation. - Prepare monthly and annual tax filings, submit to clients, and verify filing and payment. - Prepare Financial Statements, Local File, and corporate reports. - Prepare and monitor compliance with monthly closing schedules. - Other duties inherent to the position.
