Job Description:
**1\. Education:**
* Graduate in Chemical Analysis or Environmental Technology
* Graduate or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, and/or related fields
**2\. Requirements:**
* Interpretation of NTP ISO/IEC 17025: General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories
* Safe handling of chemical reagents and laboratory equipment
* Knowledge of analytical chemistry.
* Applied statistics to NTP ISO/IEC 17025:2017
* Method validation ***(desirable)***
* Measurement uncertainty estimation ***(desirable)***
* Familiarity with Minitab ***(desirable)***
**4\. Experience:**
1 year performing laboratory tests in an ISO 17025-accredited environment
**5\. Responsibilities and Functions:**
* Adhere to company (SG) policy and other quality management system guidelines.
* Lead the execution of critical analyses and tests in the laboratory, ensuring result accuracy and reliability.
* Prepare and verify result reporting sheets.
* Schedule calibration and preventive maintenance of laboratory equipment.
* Assist in reviewing, updating, and developing standard operating procedures and quality documents.
* Collaborate with Level III Analysts in their technical training and development.
* Verify validity of obtained results and conduct internal quality controls.
* Perform result correlation prior to release.
* Conduct routine tests and analyses under supervision of a senior analyst.
* Prepare solutions and reagents following standard procedures.
* Perform volumetric material verifications.
* Use PPE identified for each activity performed.
* Comply with laboratory procedures and instructions.
* Maintain up-to-date inventory of materials and reagents.
* Identify potential non-conforming work in laboratory activities.
* Accurately document analysis results and maintain precise records.
* Support cleaning and maintenance of the work area and laboratory equipment.
* Report possible deviations during service execution to the immediate supervisor.
* Verify functionality of equipment for service execution.
* Comply with all laboratory safety and quality standards, including ISO 17025 requirements.
* Participate in continuous training and internal capacity-building programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
* Other duties as assigned.
