Therefore, on behalf of our client PERUPETRO—the state-owned enterprise responsible for promoting, negotiating, signing, and supervising exploration and exploitation contracts for hydrocarbons in Peru—we are seeking a Contracting Specialist based in Lima: Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Law, Economics, or related fields. Knowledge of petroleum activities (hydrocarbon exploration and exploitation) and/or knowledge of Project Management, Financial Evaluations, Investment Analysis in the upstream hydrocarbon sector, Economic Conditions of Petroleum Contracting, Capital Markets. Courses or specializations in Hydrocarbon Management and/or Project Management, Corporate Finance. Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office. Intermediate-level proficiency in English. Minimum 4 years of general work experience in operating or service companies, and/or general experience in finance and/or project management, cost analysis in energy sector companies and/or consulting firms. Minimum 2 years of experience in petroleum activities (hydrocarbon exploration and exploitation) in operating or service companies, and/or experience in finance and/or project management, cost analysis in hydrocarbon sector companies. Responsibilities: - Collect and analyze information for technical, economic, and financial qualification of companies applying for certification as Petroleum Companies. - Gather and evaluate information required for modifications to Hydrocarbon Contracts due to contractual position transfers and other grounds—whether or not such modifications entail changes in royalty or remuneration—as well as applications from interested companies seeking Technical Evaluation Agreements, in accordance with PERUPETRO S.A.’s policies and/or procedures. - Assist in drafting terms of reference for hiring external consultants, as well as supervise and coordinate assigned tasks. - Collect and review information required for developing bidding documents for petroleum block contracting through public tender, as well as for conducting tender-based selection and contracting processes. - Perform economic projections for contracts across various modalities. - Conduct economic studies to determine fiscal incentives in Hydrocarbon Contracts aimed at promoting new investments, reserve development, increased hydrocarbon production, and higher royalty collection. - Collect and analyze information for technical, economic, and financial qualification of companies applying for certification as Petroleum Companies. - Update and review economic performance indicators for hydrocarbon exploration and/or exploitation across various geographic regions of the country, to be used in valuing hydrocarbon activities in new contract projects or modifications to existing contracts. - Analyze and draft regulatory proposals concerning the fiscal and revenue framework governing contracts with Petroleum Companies. - Investigate various factors affecting the national and international macroeconomic environment of the hydrocarbon sector to identify potential improvement opportunities. - Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.-Requirements- Minimum Education: University Graduate 3 years of experience Keywords: specialist, especialista
