Job Summary: JOMICAS is seeking an Environmental Specialist to prepare and develop environmental management studies and instruments, with experience in fieldwork and GIS handling. Key Highlights: 1. Professional with 3 years of experience in environmental management studies 2. Experience in technical preparation of environmental studies 3. Proficiency in ArcGIS and/or QGIS, and willingness to travel Full-time | Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Employment modality: Initial 3-month period under service invoice agreement, with potential transition to payroll starting from the 4th month, subject to performance evaluation. JOMICAS is an engineering, construction, maintenance, and remodeling services company. We are currently experiencing growth and seek to incorporate an Environmental Specialist with experience in preparing and developing environmental management studies and instruments into our team. What profile are we seeking? A professionally certified graduate in Environmental Engineering, Sanitary Engineering, Environmental and Natural Resources Engineering, or Geography. Minimum 3 years of professional experience in preparing, evaluating, modifying and/or updating environmental management studies and instruments. Direct hands-on experience in the technical preparation of environmental studies. Experience in fieldwork and environmental data collection. Proficiency in ArcGIS and/or QGIS. Willingness to undertake nationwide travel and fieldwork. Proven experience required with instruments such as: * Environmental Impact Declarations – DIA. * Environmental Impact Studies – EIA, EIA-sd and/or EIA-d. * Environmental Management and Adaptation Programs – PAMA. * Environmental Management Instruments for Sanitation Project Adaptation – IGAPAP. * Modifications and/or updates of Environmental Management Instruments. Particular emphasis will be placed on experience in sanitation projects, such as drinking water and sewerage systems, Wastewater Treatment Plants (PTAR), and related projects.
