Job Summary: We are seeking an accounting professional with experience in import/export to ensure accounting and tax compliance, manage foreign trade operations (COMEX), and provide financial support. Excellent work climate. **Profile Requirements** * **Education:** Bachelor's degree or graduate in Accounting. * **Experience:** Minimum 2–3 years in similar positions, preferably in importing/exporting companies. * **Required Technical Knowledge:** * **IFRS:** Proficiency in recognition, measurement, and presentation policies for financial statements (especially inventory handling and foreign exchange differences). * **Taxation:** Handling of direct and indirect taxes, withholdings, deductions, electronic ledgers, and compliance with monthly/annual obligations. * **Corporate Finance:** Ability to analyze financial ratios, cash flow projections, and financial statement evaluation. * **Foreign Trade (COMEX):** Knowledge of import costing, INCOTERMS handling, accounting and tax treatment of DAM (Customs Declaration of Goods), and insurance policy settlements. * **Software and Tools:** Proficiency in accounting ERPs and intermediate-level Excel (pivot tables and macros). Intermediate English level (desirable for reading commercial documents). **Main Responsibilities** * **Accounting and IFRS Management:** Ensure accounting records comply with international standards. Record and control import/export costing. * **Tax Compliance:** Tax calculation and settlement, preparation of sworn tax declarations, and validation of tax credits for international and domestic transactions. * **COMEX and Treasury Management:** Recording of foreign invoices, control of advance payments to foreign suppliers, and calculation and recording of foreign exchange differences (IFRS 21\). * **Financial Support:** Preparation of management reports, profitability analysis by business line, and support in cash flow forecasting. * **Internal Control:** Participation in physical inventory counts, bank reconciliations (domestic and foreign), and audit coordination. **Valued Competencies** * High level of organization and attention to detail. * Analytical thinking and ability to solve complex problems. * Effective communication skills with customs agents, suppliers, and other company departments. * Adaptability and ability to meet strict monthly closing deadlines. **We Offer** * Competitive market-aligned salary. * Professional development opportunities in a dynamic environment. * Ongoing training on accounting, tax, and customs regulations. * Excellent work climate and statutory benefits.
