Job Summary: Electrocom Ingenieros is seeking a structural designer for the design and development of electrical transmission structures, including modeling, technical documentation, and research. Key Highlights: 1. Participation in engineering design and development. 2. Research and development of new design techniques. 3. Proposing procedural improvements within the department. Electrocom Ingenieros is a Peruvian company with over 34 years of experience. Our work involves engineering and manufacturing of electrical transmission towers, steel frames up to 500 kV, respective accessories, and supplying grounding systems for electrical and telecommunications systems. **Main Responsibilities:** 1\. Creating structural models in TEKLA. 2\. Adhering to company design procedures and criteria. 3\. Generating detailed drawings from models. 4\. Preparing fabrication (detail) drawings and assembly (general) drawings, including exploded views and bills of materials (BOM). 5\. Performing quantity take-offs from 3D models. 6\. Producing technical documentation related to product design. 7\. Research and development of new design techniques and products. 8\. Managing and controlling generated documentation. 9\. Participating in various internal company project activities. 10\. Proposing improvements to departmental procedures, protocols, and instructions. 11\. Complying with company policies, procedures, regulations, as well as RIT and RISST requirements. 12\. Performing other duties within the scope of competence assigned by the immediate supervisor. **Job Requirements:** * Technical or university degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related fields. * Minimum 2 years of experience as a structural designer. * Proficiency in AutoCAD and Tekla Structures (mandatory). * Ability to read and interpret structural and fabrication drawings. * Knowledge of steel structures and manufacturing processes. * Experience in quantity take-offs and material breakdown.
