Job Summary: A major multinational company is seeking a Laboratory Technician to supervise geotechnical and laboratory testing in Chinchero. Key Responsibilities: 1. Supervision of standard penetration test (NSPT) and sample collection 2. Supervision of trenching and sampling procedures 3. Supervision of laboratory tests for index and mechanical properties A leading multinational company in the fields of engineering projects, inspection, testing, and certification is seeking a new professional for the position of "LABORATORY TESTING TECHNICIAN" in Chinchero. Project: "SUPERVISION SERVICES FOR FIELD AND LABORATORY GEOTECHNICAL STUDIES FOR FOUNDATION AND PAVEMENT DESIGN". What are we looking for? \- Laboratory Technician in Soil Mechanics or Graduate/Bachelor in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related disciplines. \- Minimum 12 months of experience as a laboratory technician or technical assistant in soil investigation and/or geotechnical projects. \- Candidates residing in Chinchero or nearby areas (6x1 work schedule). Responsibility: Ensure compliance with current technical regulations on quality and sound engineering practices as stipulated by the Client and industry standards. Functions: \- Supervise procedures for conducting standard penetration tests (NSPT), including collection of disturbed and undisturbed samples. \- Supervise procedures for conducting trenches, including collection of disturbed and undisturbed samples. \- Supervise procedures for installation and reading measurements from piezometers. \- Supervise development of field vane test procedures. \- Supervise procedures for conducting laboratory tests for index and mechanical properties. Functions: Conditions: \- Base salary: PEN 3,000 + PEN 500 monthly bonus. \- Direct payroll registration with all statutory benefits. \- 6x1 work schedule. \- Work location: Chinchero, Cusco.
