Coordinated work with the pharmaceutical chemistry team. **Clínica Buenaventura** is seeking a **proactive, responsible, and service-oriented Pharmacy Technician** to join our team and provide safe and efficient care to our patients. The purpose of this position is to properly carry out **medication dispensing and delivery, patient care, inventory control, and pharmaceutical product management**, ensuring compliance with internal protocols and the clinic’s good storage and dispensing practices. Key Responsibilities * **Patient Care:** Provide courteous and personalized service, guiding patients throughout the purchasing and dispensing process. * **Medication Dispensing:** Dispense medications in accordance with medical prescriptions and established procedures. * **Prescription Verification:** Review dosage form, concentration, quantity, and other necessary details prior to dispensing, reporting any observations to the responsible professional. * **Inventory Control:** Monitor stock levels, record incoming and outgoing items, and report shortages or discrepancies. * **Expiry Date Management:** Periodically verify expiration dates and ensure appropriate product rotation. * **Storage:** Organize and store medications and pharmaceutical products according to specified conditions. * **System Entry:** Accurately enter sales, dispensing records, and product movements into the pharmacy system. * **Product Receiving:** Assist in receiving, inspecting, and storing medications and products acquired by the clinic. * **Order and Cleanliness:** Maintain the pharmacy area organized, clean, and adequately stocked. * **Coordination:** Collaborate closely with the pharmaceutical chemist and other departments within the clinic to ensure appropriate patient care. Profile Requirements * **Education:** Diploma as a **Pharmacy Technician**. * **Experience:** Minimum of 6 months’ experience in pharmacies, drugstores, clinics, or healthcare facilities. * Experience in medication dispensing and patient care. * Basic knowledge of inventory control, storage, and handling of pharmaceutical products. * Familiarity with pharmacy management systems or point-of-sale systems. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office at the user level. * Availability for on-site work.
