Position Summary: WSP Peru is seeking an Intermediate Social Specialist to join its Mining team, supporting projects with socioeconomic impact and citizen participation. Key Highlights: 1. Accordingly, we invite you to apply for our search for an **Intermediate Social Specialist \- Mining.** **Key Responsibilities:** * Draft project reports, technical memoranda, various documents, and chapters related to socioeconomic aspects (baseline studies, identification and assessment of social impacts, social management plans, and economic valuation of environmental impacts) and citizen participation as assigned. * Review, process, systematize, and analyze information related to developing socioeconomic baselines for projects involving the socioeconomic team. * Coordinate preparatory activities for fieldwork under baseline studies or other specific social studies. * Conduct fieldwork information collection, leading the assigned team when required. * Collaborate in designing technical and economic proposals for services incorporating socioeconomic considerations. * Participate in technical meetings with clients and environmental authorities. * Comply with internal policies and procedures of the Integrated Management System for Quality, Environment, Occupational Health and Safety in all assigned activities, among others. **Professional Background:** * Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology, Sociology, Economics, or related fields. * Minimum of three (3) years of general professional experience. * Prior experience in consulting firms is desirable. * Experience in developing socioeconomic baseline studies or social studies related to environmental management instruments, citizen participation mechanisms within environmental certification processes, and design or implementation of social management plans is desirable. * Basic or intermediate English proficiency is desirable. \#Peru \#LI\-VE1 \#LI\-Hybrid **Primary Location** PE\-LIM\-Lima**Schedule** Full\-time**Employee Status** Temporary**Experience (Minimum Yrs.)** 3**Job Posting** Jul 24, 2026, 3:12:54 PM
