**Mission**:
Lead, design, implement, and evolve regional and cross-functional data governance models, ensuring the organization has reliable, traceable, governed, and managed data aligned with corporate, regulatory, and business standards.
**Key Responsibilities**:
* Design, evolve, and institutionalize the Data Governance Model.
+ Define and evolve the regional data governance framework, including policies, standards, processes, roles, decision-making structures, domains, subdomains, and data products.
+ Identify improvement opportunities and new data management capabilities aligned with organizational strategic objectives.
+ Periodically assess data governance maturity and propose initiatives to strengthen it.
* Define and lead the comprehensive Data Quality strategy.
+ Design the corporate Data Quality strategy—both operational and analytical—establishing principles, metrics, monitoring mechanisms, and business-value measurement models.
+ Define methodologies for identifying critical data, data quality rules, root cause analysis, and remediation plans.
+ Ensure integration of observability, monitoring, and continuous improvement capabilities for critical data.
* Lead metadata management and governance of data assets across corporate platforms.
+ Define the metadata, lineage, business glossaries, documentation, and information traceability strategy.
+ Lead adoption of data governance capabilities on platforms such as Microsoft Purview, Databricks, and Unity Catalog.
+ Ensure proper classification, documentation, traceability, and administration of data assets both inside and outside the lakehouse ecosystem.
* Apply design thinking and critical thinking to solve complex data challenges.
+ Facilitate discovery, analysis, and solution design exercises with business, technology, and control areas.
+ Identify structural causes affecting data management, quality, and utilization.
+ Design sustainable, user-centric solutions aligned with organizational capabilities.
* Influence decision-making and promote a data-driven culture.
+ Serve as a subject matter expert in data governance and data quality for business leaders, technology leaders, and executive committees.
+ Articulate, debate, and substantiate recommendations using evidence, analysis, and business impact.
+ Facilitate organizational alignment processes to drive adoption of data governance, quality, and management practices.
**Job Requirements**:
* Professionals with degrees in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Financial Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.
* Postgraduate studies related to data governance and strategy, data management, Business Intelligence, or related disciplines.
* Minimum 6 years of professional experience in data, information management, data governance, data quality, analytics, architecture, or related disciplines.
* Minimum 4 years of experience leading implementation, evolution, or transformation of data governance models with corporate, regional, or cross-functional scope.
* Proven experience defining and implementing Data Quality strategies, including definition of metrics, business rules, monitoring, root cause analysis, and improvement plans.
* Experience leading metadata, business glossary, traceability, lineage, and information asset cataloging initiatives.
* Experience implementing data governance capabilities on modern data platforms such as Databricks, Unity Catalog, Microsoft Purview, or equivalent solutions.
* Experience working with data domain models, data products, ownership, stewardship, and federated governance structures.
* Experience presenting initiatives, diagnostics, strategies, and recommendations to functional leaders, executive committees, or business sponsors.
* Desired experience in multinational organizations or highly regulated industries.
