An accounting firm undergoing expansion seeks to hire 1 ACCOUNTING INTERN to support accounting and administrative tasks. We are looking for a responsible, organized individual with interest in professional development in the accounting field. Requirements: • Minimum 6 months of experience in accounting-related positions. • University and/or technical studies in Accounting; graduates or students in the final cycles of their Accounting program. • Proactive, dynamic, responsible, and accustomed to working under objective-driven pressure. • Must reside in areas near downtown Lima or southern Lima. Knowledge: • Proficiency in Excel at Basic–Intermediate level. • Knowledge of the Payment Voucher Regulations, IGV (General Sales Tax) Law, and Income Tax Law. • Knowledge of Detractions, Retentions, and Bank Transfers (Bancarización). • Knowledge of the Chart of Accounts and its application. Responsibilities: • Recording purchase and sales documents. • Invoicing • Preparing bank reconciliations and related analysis. • Reviewing, classifying, and organizing accounting information. • Assisting in and preparing monthly tax settlements, PDT 621, and PLAME. • Recording payroll journal entries, expense entries, service entries, among others. • Other tasks assigned by the department head.
