Job Summary: We are seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our team, with experience in accounting related to imports and foreign trade to manage accounting processes. Key Highlights: 1. Knowledge of import processes and SUNAT We are Pulsar Import Opalux, a company dedicated to the importation and distribution of electronic and hardware products. We are currently seeking an Accounting Assistant to integrate into our team. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in Accounting, Administration, or related fields. Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting positions related to imports or foreign trade. Intermediate/advanced Excel proficiency (mandatory). Knowledge of import processes, withholding taxes (detracciones), income tax withholdings (retenciones), and the SUNAT portal. Residence in Cercado de Lima or nearby areas. RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare and print accounting books (Purchases, Banks, Journal, and General Ledger). Prepare and update the import expense schedule, considering CIF, FOB costs, and other concepts related to foreign trade operations. Receive proformas, invoices, advance payments, and balances for recording outward transfers. Monitor corporate email for controlling notifications, requests, and communications related to imports. Record and pay invoices from various suppliers not associated with the customs agent (e.g., stevedoring crews, security, port handling fees, and other related expenses), ensuring proper documentation and accurate accounting treatment. Manage and execute payments related to Customs Declaration Forms (DUAS), dock settlement statements, withholding taxes (detracciones), income tax withholdings (retenciones), and other obligations linked to accounting and import operations.
