Engineering quality, security, and execution speed are the pillars of how we build and deliver our platform. **THE ROLE** We are seeking a junior engineer who is comfortable operating at the intersection of backend development and cloud operations. You will contribute to building and maintaining backend services, manage and audit our AWS account, and keep Terraform-managed infrastructure up-to-date and secure. We are not looking for someone who simply executes tickets—we seek someone who takes real ownership of the systems they touch and proactively raises issues when something is wrong. **RESPONSIBILITIES** \- Develop and maintain APIs and backend services \- Integrate AWS services (S3, SQS, RDS, Lambda, ECS) into applications \- Write and update Terraform modules for AWS resources \- Manage and audit IAM permissions, active resources, and configurations \- Review findings from GuardDuty, Security Hub, and CloudTrail \- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions \- Manage secrets and credentials according to security policies \- Identify and escalate performance or availability issues \- Document infrastructure changes and decisions \- Participate in code reviews and propose incremental improvements **REQUIREMENTS** **Required:** \- Practical experience building REST APIs (Python, Node.js or similar) \- Practical knowledge of core AWS services: EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, CloudWatch, Lambda \- Terraform proficiency: writing modules, understanding state, plan/apply \- Intermediate to advanced English level **Preferred:** \- Experience with GitHub Actions or another CI/CD tool \- Familiarity with AWS security tools: GuardDuty, Security Hub, IAM auditing \- Docker for local development and ECS deployments \- Basic SQL and relational database concepts **TECH STACK** AWS · Terraform · GitHub Actions · Python · Node.js · Docker · ECS · PostgreSQL · CloudWatch · GuardDuty · Security Hub · IAM · Secrets Manager **WHAT WE OFFER** \- Real ownership from the first sprint \- Direct access to senior engineers and the CTO \- Budget for AWS and Terraform certifications \- Hybrid work model: remote on Mondays and Fridays / on-site Tuesdays through Thursdays \- Flexible hours with availability for critical incidents \- Modern hardware provided by the company \- Competitive compensation \+ statutory benefits If you’re in the early years of your career and want an environment where your work reaches real enterprise customers—not just staging—we’d love to meet you.
