Opportunity for professional growth and development Vaope.com, The Ticketing Platform of Peru, is looking for a **PHP Backend Developer** to support the development, maintenance, and optimization of its digital platforms, ensuring the correct operation, security, and efficiency of systems supporting business operations and objectives. ☑**Requirements**: * Academic, technical, or university degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or related fields. * Specialization in Backend Development / Software Architecture. * Proficiency in PHP 8\+, Laravel (advanced), MySQL (advanced), Git; additionally Redis, Linux (Ubuntu / CentOS), AWS or DigitalOcean, Nginx. * Technical English (intermediate reading level for documentation). * Minimum 2–3 years of backend development experience with PHP and Laravel. * Certifications in Laravel, Software Architecture, or Database courses (preferred). * Proficiency with database engines (MySQL / MariaDB) and API tools (Postman). * Availability to work onsite in Magdalena del Mar on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and remotely on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. ☑**Skills**: * Logical analysis ability, problem-solving capability, and performance under pressure. ☑**Main Responsibilities**: * Develop and document robust RESTful APIs for consumption by frontend and mobile applications. * Design and optimize database structure (MySQL), ensuring data integrity and optimizing complex queries. * Implement integrations with third-party services (payment gateways such as Niubiz/Culqi, Electronic Invoicing/Nubefact, etc.). * Manage background processes (Jobs/Queues) for heavy tasks (email delivery, report generation) using Redis/Supervisor. * Perform corrective and preventive maintenance, resolving bugs and refactoring legacy code to improve performance. * Collaborate on application deployment on Linux servers and ensure information security (protection of sensitive data). ☑**Benefits**: * Microenterprise labor regime (15 vacation days \+ Essalud health insurance) * Positive, dynamic, and collaborative work environment * Opportunities for professional growth and development alongside the company * Openness to new proposals and continuous improvement Speak... vao?
