Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimating Intern to support our bidding process by reviewing construction drawings, performing quantity takeoffs, and organizing project information. With over 20 years of industry experience, we are growing quickly and looking to build a strong remote team to support estimating and preconstruction. **Position Overview** We are looking for a detail\-oriented Estimating Intern to support our bidding process. You will be responsible for reviewing construction drawings, performing quantity takeoffs, and organizing project information to help us bid more jobs efficiently. **Key Responsibilities** * Perform quantity takeoffs from construction plans (PDFs) * Measure and calculate: Block (CMU)\- Brick \- Stone \- Stucco \- Wall square footage \- Openings (doors/windows) * Organize bid documents and project folders * Input quantities into Excel spreadsheets * Assist in preparing bid packages * Review plans and identify missing information * Communicate clearly with owner regarding questions or discrepancies **Required Skills \& Experience** * Experience reading construction drawings (preferred) * Experience with takeoff software such as PlanSwift, or Togal.ai (preferred, but can train) * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Proficient in Microsoft Excel * Good written English communication * Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines **Training \& Support** We will provide: * Training videos (screen recordings) * Sample projects * Clear templates and processes Important This role requires high attention to detail.
