Job Summary: We are seeking an Industrial Electrical Technician with experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment, interpretation of schematics, and PLC programming. Compliance with regulations and technological updates Main Responsibilities: - Electrical Equipment Installation: Assemble and wire machines, control panels, electrical switchboards, distribution transformers, and other electrical equipment in accordance with drawings and technical specifications. - Maintenance and Repair: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical switchboards, SPAT. - Maintenance and Repair: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment, identifying and resolving faults to ensure optimal machinery operation. - Fault Diagnosis: Use electrical diagnostic and measurement tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.) to locate electrical and control-related issues. - Interpretation of Electrical Schematics: Read and understand electrical diagrams and drawings to facilitate equipment installation, maintenance, and repair. - Controller Programming: Configure and program programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other industrial automation devices. - Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all installations and repairs comply with local, national, and international electrical safety standards. - Equipment Testing: Conduct functional and performance tests on machinery and electrical systems to guarantee proper operation. - Recordkeeping and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, as well as documentation of installations and modifications made to electrical systems. - Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work collaboratively with engineers, operators, and other technicians to address complex issues involving both electrical and mechanical systems. - Training and Advisory Support: Provide training and advisory support to other staff on electrical equipment operation and best practices for safety. - Technological Updates: Stay current with the latest technologies in electrical systems and automation by participating in training courses and continuous professional development programs. Requirements: - Hold a technical diploma in Industrial Electricity (SENATI, TECSUP, or equivalent) - Minimum 3 years of experience in similar positions - : Teamwork, assertive communication, adaptability, and commitment. - Driver's License: Desirable - Work Equipment: Smartphone with WhatsApp is MANDATORY. - Availability to work on Sundays and/or holidays with additional compensation beyond regular salary (only on specific dates, not routinely) - Proficiency in using measurement instruments (megohmmeter, multimeter, clamp meter, earth resistance tester, etc.) - Ability to interpret measurements taken (i.e., compare them against applicable regulations based on the parameters measured).-Requirements- Minimum Education: Technical 3 years of experience Age: between 25 and 40 years Knowledge: Fault analysis, CAD, Power distribution, Electricity, Installations, Electrical maintenance, Control panel, Drawings, Electrical switchboards Driver's Licenses: A-I Willingness to travel: Yes Keywords: technologist, technician, tech, technician, technology, tecnologia, technologist, electrico, electrician, lineman, electricista
