Position Summary: We are seeking an SSOMA Engineer to lead and supervise Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental (SSOMA) management on projects, ensuring regulatory compliance. Promote a preventive safety culture and continuous safety improvement SEVEN SEAS PERÚ MINERAL S.A.C. is currently seeking an SSOMA Engineer to join our teams located in Salaverry and El Milagro. The professional will be responsible for leading and supervising Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental (SSOMA) management during service execution, ensuring compliance with client standards and applicable legal regulations. Main Responsibilities: - Supervise compliance with Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental (SSOMA) regulations in the field. - Prepare and manage project SSOMA documentation. - Conduct inspections, audits, and follow-up on corrective actions. - Deliver safety inductions, trainings, and safety talks. - Verify work permits and compliance with ATS/PETS. - Investigate incidents and prepare corresponding reports. - Coordinate SSOMA-related matters with supervision and the client. - Promote a preventive safety culture and continuous safety improvement. Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree and professional registration in Mining Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Safety Engineering, or related fields. - Minimum 5 years of experience as an SSOMA Engineer in mining projects. - Experience in high-risk activities and field operations. - Knowledge of current legal regulations on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and environmental protection. - Proficiency in SSOMA management tools and report preparation. - Intermediate-level Excel proficiency.
