Job Summary: We are seeking a Geologist to ensure geological control and quality of received gold-bearing ore, complying with technical, legal, and operational requirements. Key Highlights: 1. Being part of a growing company At Grupo La Joya Mining, a company dedicated to the collection and processing of gold-bearing ore, we are looking for top talent to fill the position of Geologist. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Geological Engineering or related fields. Minimum 4 years of experience in geological evaluation and mineral quality control. Knowledge of mineral sampling and quality control, geological and mineralogical interpretation, Peruvian mining legislation, REINFO, and related regulations. Desirable knowledge of metallurgical balances. Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office. Willingness to work under non-standard employment arrangements. Main Responsibilities: Ensure geological control and quality of ore received at the gold processing plant, guaranteeing compliance with technical, legal, and operational parameters. Conduct geological evaluation of received ore, validating its mineralogical characteristics and grade. Supervise the sampling, sample preparation, and quality control process, ensuring result reliability and traceability. Coordinate chemical and metallurgical analyses with laboratories, verifying the quality and consistency of obtained data. Prepare metallurgical balances, geological reports, and technical reports for operational control and monitoring. Identify risks associated with illegal mining, informality, or deficiencies in traceability of received ore. Coordinate with Legal, Logistics, Commercial, and Compliance departments to ensure proper supplier and operational validation. Maintain up-to-date supplier technical records and files, ensuring documentary and regulatory compliance. We Offer: Being part of a growing company.
