This is your opportunity to make an impact and rise above the possible. **Job posting end date:** 18\.05\.2026 **Job Purpose:** Responsible for developing, analyzing, and validating mill lining wear simulations and reports for customers in the Americas region, using Metso’s specialized point cloud analysis and KPI generation tools. Additionally, actively participate in the design, analysis, and optimization of lining profiles—identifying wear rates, critical zones, and improvement opportunities to maximize equipment performance and customer satisfaction. **Key Responsibilities:** Support in developing simulations. Develop mill lining wear reports incorporating technical and operational KPIs. Analyze point clouds and apply modeling and simulation tools to evaluate lining wear behavior and performance. Actively participate in and support the design, validation, and optimization of lining profiles, considering various operational scenarios. Evaluate wear rates, focus zones, and wear patterns through comparative technical analysis. Provide technical support to internal teams and collaborate in design decision-making and continuous improvement. Identify and propose improvements to analysis, simulation, and reporting methodologies. Other duties related to the position as required by the department. **Requirements for Success:** Graduate, Bachelor’s degree, and/or certified professional in Metallurgical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields. Minimum 1–2 years of experience in similar roles. Experience in simulations, wear analysis, lining design, mining equipment maintenance, or similar roles (experience in grinding preferred). Intermediate/advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor (mandatory). Intermediate/advanced proficiency in Excel (mandatory). Familiarity with MS Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Power BI). Knowledge of mining processes and concentrator plants, especially in grinding operations. Ability to interpret and analyze mechanical drawings.
