




Position Summary: Support geological and geomechanical mapping, progress logging of mining activities, mineral sampling, and grade control in underground mining. Key Highlights: 1. Support for geological and geomechanical mapping underground. 2. Assistance in mineral sampling and grade control. 3. Collaboration in support system supervision and stability monitoring. Responsibilities – Mining and Geological Engineering Intern (Underground Mine) Support geological and geomechanical mapping underground (drifts, faces, and mining activities). Record and update progress information of mining activities (meters developed, cross-sections, rock mass conditions). Assist in mineral sampling and grade control (channel samples, chips), as well as sample dispatch and tracking. Support the preparation and updating of mine development drawings (levels, ramps, stopes). Participate in drilling and blasting control (pattern, charge, sequence, and results). Support dilution, recovery, and ore control evaluation. Collaborate in support system supervision (rock bolts, mesh, shotcrete) and stability condition monitoring. Record ventilation conditions and assist in gas monitoring underground. Support daily and weekly operational technical report preparation. Coordinate with geology, planning, and operations departments to consolidate technical information. Requirements Final-year student in Mining Engineering or Geology. Interest in underground mining (underground mine). Basic knowledge of geological mapping, sampling, and operational control. Basic proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and mining software (preferred). Ability to work underground under demanding conditions.
