Job Summary: Operate and control the mineral grinding process, ensuring operational continuity, product quality, and compliance with safety and cleanliness standards. Key Highlights: 1. PLANT OPERATOR Operate and control the mineral grinding process, ensuring operational continuity, product quality, and compliance with safety, order, and cleanliness standards within the plant. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Operate mills according to established parameters. Control the particle size distribution of the processed mineral. Monitor operational variables (feed rate, mill charge, energy consumption, operating time). Perform basic adjustments during the process to optimize performance. Verify proper mineral flow during grinding. Transfer and empty mineral Big Bags into hoppers or equipment. Ensure proper securing, handling, and unloading of material. Inspect Big Bags for condition prior to use. Coordinate with logistics and/or warehouse for timely supply. Perform cleaning tasks in grinding areas, equipment, and transit zones. Sweep spilled material across the plant. Keep work areas clear to prevent accidents. Classify waste according to internal regulations (industrial, hazardous, etc.). Support mineral sampling activities. Assist in manual feeding of equipment when required. Collaborate during plant shutdowns (deep cleaning, basic maintenance). Report mechanical or electrical failures detected during operation. Support material loading and unloading. Participate in physical inventories of inputs and products. Carry out tasks assigned by the supervisor related to the process. Collaborate with other departments (logistics, maintenance, etc.).
