This is how we develop mining—always aligned with change, supported by committed, inspired, and continuously developing people. **Join Nexa and be part of mining that moves with the world!** **\#WomenTalentInMining** **Responsibilities and Duties** * Develop, improve, and structure process-based management to increase plant efficiency. * Define, analyze, and monitor critical performance indicators based on process patterns impacting equipment efficiency. * Conduct coordination and alignment meetings with supporting areas to integrate new variables for process control. * Use statistical analysis tools to evaluate process performance, conduct diagnostics, and build predictive models. * Ensure proper operation of control screens and creation of new screens in PI\-Vision. * Ensure reliability in measurement of critical plant instruments (Courier, PSI300, etc.) and perform control activities. * Prepare technical reports for Plant Management and immediate supervisors, based on process understanding. * Manage, plan, coordinate, and supervise projects for implementing new systems or technological improvements for process control. * Perform metallurgical process modeling, simulation, and resizing using JKSimmet, Molycop Tools, etc., to identify optimization opportunities. * Develop plant improvement initiatives targeting cost reduction and performance enhancement, including respective economic evaluation. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Degree in Metallurgical Engineering. * Minimum 5 years’ experience in concentrator plants covering crushing, grinding, flotation, thickeners, and filtration processes, plus 2 years in process control. * Knowledge of calibration of measurement equipment such as Courier, PSI 300, and others. * Knowledge of data analysis (Python) and use of statistical tools (Minitab, etc.). * Solid knowledge of PI Vision. * Knowledge of metallurgical process modeling, simulation, and resizing. * Proficiency in metallurgical software (JKSimmet, Molycop, or similar). **Additional Information** * Work Location: Cerro Lindo * Work Schedule: 5x2 At NEXA, we work in a diverse environment where people feel free to be themselves.
