Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced CAD Technician / Technical Designer specializing in metal furniture, with 2D/3D design skills and production coordination capabilities to optimize processes. Key Highlights: 1. Development of detailed drawings and 2D/3D modeling of metal furniture. 2. Coordination with production to ensure proper execution and optimization. 3. Focus on continuous improvement, cost optimization, and process optimization. We are looking for a CAD Technician / Technical Designer with experience in developing drawings and modeling for metal furniture, particularly stainless steel and iron. The ideal candidate must possess strong technical skills, manufacturing expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with production. **Main Responsibilities:** * Preparation of fabrication drawings (detailed and assembly drawings). * 2D and 3D modeling of metal furniture. * Interpretation of technical drawings and specifications. * Development of component breakdowns and material optimization. * Generation of production files (CNC, laser cutting, bending, etc.). * Coordination with the production department to ensure correct execution. * Control and updating of drawings according to changes during construction or manufacturing. * Preparation of quantity take-offs and bills of materials (BOM). * Support in design improvements for cost and process optimization. **Requirements:** * Technical diploma or degree in Technical Drawing, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields. * Minimum 1–2 years of experience in similar roles (preferably in metalworking). * Proficiency in: * AutoCAD * Autodesk Inventor * SketchUp * Microsoft Excel * Knowledge of manufacturing processes: laser cutting, folding, welding (desirable). * Experience operating CNC laser cutting machines (optional, but valued). * Familiarity with tolerances, metallic materials, and finishes. **Competencies:** * Proactivity and initiative. * Organization and attention to detail. * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. * Effective communication with technical and operational departments. * Commitment to continuous improvement and process optimization. * Responsibility and dedication to work.
