Job Summary: Supervise scrap management processes, personnel, quality control, occupational safety, and logistics, and prepare reports. Key Highlights: 1. Logistical coordination and occupational safety Process Supervision Monitor scrap receipt, classification, and storage. Verify correct separation of materials (ferrous, non-ferrous, hazardous, etc.). Ensure accurate weighing and recording of incoming/outgoing materials. 2. Personnel Management Lead and coordinate the operations team. Assign daily tasks. Supervise performance and adherence to schedules. 3. Quality Control Inspect scrap to ensure compliance with required standards for sale or recycling. Prevent material contamination (e.g., mixing copper with other metals). 4. Occupational Safety and Health Enforce use of PPE (helmets, gloves, goggles, etc.). Prevent accidents within the yard or facility. Report incidents. 5. Inventory Control Maintain records of material stock levels. Coordinate dispatches and receipts with logistics. 6. Machinery Handling Supervise proper use of equipment such as forklifts, cranes, or compactors. Verify basic equipment maintenance. 7. Logistics Coordination Coordinate truck loading and unloading. Ensure efficient timing throughout the process. 8. Reporting Prepare daily or weekly reports (receipts, shipments, incidents).
