Resolve mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, and control system failures On behalf of our client, a logistics-sector company, we are seeking a **Maintenance Technician** to be based in Haps, the Netherlands** This role will ensure operational continuity and efficiency by maintaining the proper functioning of the distribution center’s automated material handling systems through preventive and corrective maintenance, fault diagnosis and resolution, and continuous improvement of automated systems. **Responsibilities:** * Ensure facilities and systems remain in optimal technical condition during the shift. * Monitor Control Room reports and analyze detected faults. * Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, and control system failures. * Perform preventive, periodic, and corrective maintenance activities. * Carry out installations, modifications, and adjustments to material handling systems. * Identify opportunities and implement improvements in systems and processes. * Provide technical support to operators and Control Room personnel. * Record and keep maintenance information up to date in the CMMS. * Act as the liaison between on-site technical staff and office-based colleagues. * Make technical decisions when necessary, prioritizing safety and operational continuity. * Ensure maximum availability and operational continuity of automated systems. * Minimize the impact of technical failures on operations. * Maintain facilities in optimal conditions of safety, functionality, and efficiency. * Respond promptly to unexpected technical incidents requiring immediate action. **Requirements:** * Technical or university degree in Electricity, Mechanics, Electromechanics, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, Electronics, or Industrial Control. * Minimum 3 years’ experience in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance, control systems, and PLCs. * Experience maintaining automated equipment in distribution centers is highly desirable. * Knowledge of conveyor belts and sorting systems is a plus. * Intermediate English proficiency with ability to communicate effectively in the workplace. * Willingness to relocate to the Netherlands. **Value Proposition:** A monthly salary between €3,500 \- €4,000 is offered, along with additional benefits and long-term professional development opportunities. * The company will assist with visa and residence documentation procedures. **Working Conditions:** Location: Haps, the Netherlands. Work Mode: On-site. Schedule: Standard two-shift system (05:30–14:30 and 11:30–20:30\) with availability for 12 Saturdays per year and overtime as required.
