Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced technician to perform assembly, disassembly, and maintenance of mechanical equipment in mining projects, ensuring compliance with safety procedures. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assembly and disassembly of mechanical equipment 2. Alignment and adjustment of rotating and static equipment 3. Support for corrective and preventive maintenance during plant shutdowns REQUIREMENTS: (PERSONNEL FOR SHUTDOWN) \* Minimum 3 years of experience in this position. (Minimum education: Technical degree) \* Prior work experience in mining projects. \* Residency in Arequipa, Puno, Juliaca, Moquegua, Cusco, or Apurímac. \* Immediate availability. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Perform assembly and disassembly of mechanical equipment and components (e.g., conveyor belts, chutes, pumps, gearboxes, steel structures, etc.). * Conduct alignment, leveling, and adjustment of rotating and static equipment. * Support corrective and preventive maintenance activities during plant shutdowns. * Interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications. * Perform torqueing tasks, operate hydraulic tools, and use lifting equipment. * Verify operational conditions of equipment and report deviations. * Comply with safety procedures, ATS, and proper use of PPE. * Proven experience in plant shutdowns (mandatory). * Knowledge of blueprint reading, basic metrology, and equipment assembly. * Experience in high-risk tasks (working at heights, hot work, confined spaces). * Willingness to work under mining labor regimes and at high altitudes. * Desired: Valid certifications (working at heights, rigging, lockout/tagout \- LOTO).
