We are currently seeking 01 TECHNICAL OPERATIONS ASSISTANT. POSITION OBJECTIVE Provide comprehensive operational management support through route and service planning, and technical control of driver staffing. Includes strategic information analysis for itinerary design and implementation of adjustments ensuring technical and operational system efficiency. · ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Transport Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. INDUSTRY BACKGROUND: Prior experience with transportation or logistics companies is highly desirable; however, candidates from other industries will also be considered, provided they possess the required experience for this position. EXPERIENCE Minimum 1 year of experience as an Operations, Scheduling, or Service Planning Assistant, preferably in the transportation, operations, or logistics sector. REQUIRED AND DESIRABLE COMPETENCIES Required Experience in database recordkeeping Knowledge of management indicators Experience in preparing technical reports Experience creating effective presentations (PPT) Knowledge of process mapping and documentation Microsoft Excel – Advanced Basic knowledge and usage of Java or Visual Basic (Programming) Power BI – Intermediate Desirable: Experience in fleet operational management. Proficiency in TransCAD, ArcGIS, Syncro, Vissim. CORE JOB FUNCTIONS Route and Service Planning: Design and optimize itineraries, frequencies, and services (trunk and feeder) based on demand and operational capacity. Demand Planning: Conduct demand forecasting and trip assignment using TransCAD, integrating validation data and field study results. Staffing Management: Schedule weekly and monthly shifts, rest days, leaves, and training sessions, ensuring operational availability for planned routes. Operational Assignment: Execute weekly service assignments to drivers according to route design and fleet planning. Technical Optimization: Develop mathematical models to optimize both staffing management processes and kilometers-traveled efficiency. Communication Management: Serve as the liaison between operations and drivers to resolve queries regarding services, shifts, and operational status. Efficiency Analysis: Monitor adherence-to-schedule indicators, record data in dashboards, and perform cost projections. Fieldwork: Collect field data and verify route operational performance and on-road working conditions.
