Ensuring Quality and Accuracy of Results
▪ Perform physicochemical analysis of water (COD, oils and fats, solids, BOD, chlorides, hardness, color, nitrates, nitrites, sulfides, ammonia nitrogen, etc.).
▪ Accurately record all laboratory activities.
▪ Knowledge of operation of equipment for which competence and authorization have been granted.
▪ Verification of glassware and submission for corresponding calibration.
▪ Provide data for calculating LDI, LDM, and LC, as applicable, for assigned test methods, in coordination with the Senior Analyst.
▪ Provide data for calculating uncertainty of test methods.
▪ Perform soil and air analysis.
▪ Knowledge of test method implementation topics.
Minimum 2 years of experience in accredited laboratories for respective physicochemical tests on water, soil, and air matrices.
Required training courses:
* Interpretation of ISO/IEC 17025 standard
* Assurance of result validity
* Uncertainty calculation and validation of test methods
* Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Basic to intermediate English.
