In Peru, we operate across most economic sectors—including mining, agriculture, and fisheries—forming part of the value chain for their products and services. **Job Description** We are seeking to fill the position of **Safety Supervisor** to oversee maintenance activities in the mining area, ensuring compliance with safety standards, applicable legislation, and incident prevention in high-risk work. Supervise and monitor compliance with safety regulations, procedures, and standards applied to maintenance activities in mining operations, promoting a culture of prevention and zero incidents. * Conduct field supervision of mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks, verifying correct implementation of safety procedures. * Carry out daily safety inspections, verifying working conditions, tools, use of PPE, and critical controls. * Validate proper preparation of IPERCs, ATSs, and work permits for working at heights, confined spaces, or energized environments. * Investigate incidents, accidents, and substandard conditions, proposing corrective and preventive actions. * Train and instruct personnel on safety topics and respond to emergency situations. * Ensure compliance with the Mining Occupational Safety and Health Regulation (D.S. 024\-2016\-EM). * Coordinate with the maintenance department to plan safe execution of critical activities. **Requirements** * **Education:** Technical diploma or degree in Safety Engineering, Mining Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, or related fields. * **Experience:** Minimum **3 years as a Safety Supervisor** in **maintenance activities** within mining units. * **Certifications:** + Training in IPERC, ATS, working at heights, and confined space entry. + License or accreditation as a Safety Supervisor (desirable). * **Knowledge:** Peruvian mining safety legislation (D.S. 024\-2016\-EM), safe work procedures, risk management. * **Competencies:** Leadership, effective communication, decision-making, proactivity, results orientation. **Additional Information** * Formal employment contract from day one. * Statutory Life Insurance. * Bi-weekly salary payments. * Corporate partnership agreements.
