Agronomy Intern **Regional Institute for Development (IRD San Martín) – National Agrarian University La Molina (UNALM)** We are seeking an **Agronomy student or related field** interested in tropical crop management, agricultural research, and innovation. The internship will be conducted on-site at the experimental farms **Pucayacu and/or San Isidro, San Martín region**, participating in activities related to the cultivation of **passion fruit, soursop, vanilla, cocoa, banana, and rice**. Main Responsibilities * Assist with planting, fertilization, irrigation, pruning, phytosanitary management, and harvesting. * Conduct pest, disease, and crop development monitoring. * Assist in field data collection and recording. * Participate in research trials and demonstration plots. * Support harvesting and post-harvest activities. * Prepare reports, technical sheets, and databases. * Assist in controlling and maintaining inputs and tools. Required Profile * Student from the **8th semester onward** in Agronomy or related fields, or a recent graduate. * Prior experience is not required. * Basic knowledge of fertilization, irrigation, and phytosanitary management. * Basic proficiency in Excel and Word. * Proactivity, responsibility, and ability to work in a team. * Interest in agricultural research and innovation. * Availability for on-site fieldwork under Amazonian climatic conditions. **Duration:** 3 to 6 months, renewable based on performance and institutional needs. **Offered:** Financial stipend, accident insurance, technical supervision, internship certification, and applied learning in agricultural research and innovation. Salary: Starting from S/.1.00 per month Workplace: On-site employment
