The position is ideal for someone with experience as a veterinary assistant, groomer, grooming assistant, dog caregiver, pet daycare/hotel worker, veterinary student, or professional experience working with animals. We do not necessarily require a certified professional dog trainer, but we do seek someone with solid dog handling skills, patience, and the ability to help establish healthy routines and basic training. Responsibilities * Walk both dogs daily. * Provide play, exercise, and mental stimulation. * Assist with basic puppy training, including housebreaking, basic commands, and leash walking. * Reinforce good behavior and household routines. * Supervise the cohabitation and adjustment between the puppy and the adult dog. * Feed and maintain their daily routines. * Frequent brushing, bathing, and basic grooming. * Clean ears, paws, and provide general care. * Keep beds, toys, bowls, and dog areas clean and organized. * Accompany them to veterinary or grooming appointments when necessary. * Monitor changes in behavior, appetite, or health. * Provide companionship and daytime supervision.
