**JOB PROFILE – FOREIGN TRADE ANALYST**
**JOB OBJECTIVE**
Manage and ensure the proper execution of foreign trade operations by coordinating with customers, logistics operators, and internal departments, ensuring compliance with documentary, customs, and logistics procedures, as well as optimizing costs, timelines, and terms for import and/or export operations.
**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Logistics Management and Negotiation**
* Coordinate and manage negotiations with logistics operators, freight forwarders, customs agents, and related suppliers.
* Evaluate logistics alternatives to optimize costs, timelines, and service conditions.
* Monitor rates, quotations, and commercial terms offered by operators.
* Coordinate shipments and foreign trade operations, ensuring adherence to established deadlines.
**Documentation Management and Tracking**
* Manage and control documentation required for foreign trade operations.
* Review documents such as commercial invoices, packing lists, BL/AWB, certificates of origin, customs documents, and other required documentation.
* Track the document flow from the start of an operation through to its closure.
* Identify documentation inconsistencies or omissions and coordinate timely resolution.
**Coordination and Communication Flow**
* Serve as the liaison between customers, logistics operators, customs agents, and various internal departments.
* Maintain consistent communication with all parties involved in each operation.
* Coordinate shipment dates, arrivals, customs clearances, deliveries, and other key logistics milestones.
* Promptly report incidents, delays, cost overruns, or any deviations affecting operations.
**Control and Analysis**
* Prepare reports and KPIs related to foreign trade operations.
* Analyze logistics costs and propose optimization opportunities.
* Keep operational data up to date and monitor key performance indicators.
* Identify improvement opportunities in foreign trade and international logistics processes.
**Regulatory Compliance**
* Ensure operations comply with current customs legislation and applicable regulations.
* Stay updated on regulatory changes that may impact operations.
* Coordinate with customs agents and specialized operators regarding customs-related inquiries or incidents.
**PROFILE REQUIREMENTS**
**Academic Qualifications**
* Bachelor’s degree or higher in **International Business, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Foreign Trade**, or related fields.
**Experience**
* Minimum of **2 years** of experience in Foreign Trade, Foreign Trade Operations, International Logistics, or related roles.
* Experience managing import and/or export operations.
* Experience coordinating with logistics operators, freight forwarders, and/or customs agents.
**Technical Knowledge**
* Foreign trade and import/export operations.
* Customs legislation and procedures.
* International logistics and management of logistics operators.
* Foreign trade documentation.
* Logistics cost and rate management.
* **Intermediate/Advanced Excel proficiency.**
* **Intermediate/Advanced English proficiency.**
Salary: S/.1,800\.00 \- S/.3,000\.00 per month
