INSTITUTIONAL COMMERCIAL MANAGER – PUBLIC HEALTH SECTOR Employment Modality · Hybrid work (1 day per week onsite) · Fixed salary \+ commissions per closed sale Position Objective Develop and expand the institutional client portfolio in the public health sector by identifying commercial opportunities and generating sales of pharmaceutical products, medical devices, and health supplies to Peruvian state entities. Main Responsibilities · Prospect commercial opportunities within health-sector entities. · Maintain ongoing contact with procurement, supply, and logistics officials at public institutions. · Manage direct sales for low-value transactions and non-tendered purchases. · Identify purchasing requirements at: o MINSA o ESSALUD o CENARES o DIRESA o GERESA o National and regional hospitals o Specialized institutes o Armed Forces and National Police · Coordinate preparation of quotations and commercial proposals. · Track progress through purchase order issuance and acceptance confirmations. · Keep the institutional commercial pipeline updated. · Identify future contracting and supply opportunities. · Provide strategic market intelligence on demand, competition, and pricing within the public sector. · Participate in commercial meetings with potential institutional clients. Essential Requirements · Minimum 3 years’ experience in institutional sales to the Peruvian State within the health, pharmaceutical, or medical device sectors. · Demonstrable experience selling to public entities. · Practical knowledge of: o SEACE o OSCE o PERÚ COMPRAS o Minor procurements and state purchase orders. · Active contact network within public health entities. · Experience in negotiating and closing institutional sales. · Proficiency in Excel and commercial tracking tools. · Availability to conduct in-person visits to public institutions in Metropolitan Lima. Desirable Requirements · Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields. · Prior experience with pharmaceutical laboratories, medical distributors, or medical device companies. · Knowledge of hospital supply chain processes. · Personal institutional contact portfolio.
