Job Summary: We are seeking an Operational Excellence Assistant to identify improvements, develop technological solutions, and analyze information to optimize mining processes. Key Highlights: 1. Analyze information to identify deviations and optimize key performance indicators Our company, Compañia Minera Antapaccay, is searching for top talent to fill the position of: Operational Excellence Assistant (Continuous Improvement) Responsibilities Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and digital transformation within the Mine, Maintenance, and Processing areas. Develop customized technological solutions according to core business area needs, building desktop and mobile applications that automate processes and enable operational analytics. Provide support in registering, tracking milestones, and updating the company’s portfolio of optimization initiatives, coordinating with leaders across each initiative to ensure progress and estimated value capture are properly documented. Centralize, process, and analyze data from key processes to build control dashboards and analytical reports that help identify deviations and improvement opportunities in corporate KPIs. Antapaccay is a copper mining operation belonging to the Glencore Group since 2013\. It commenced operations in November 2012, following several years of exploration investment aimed at extending the life of the Tintaya mine. The mining settlement is located in the province of Espinar, Cusco region, at 4,100 meters above sea level. This operation enables us to continue contributing to the sustainable development of the Espinar province — not only by fostering direct and indirect job creation and boosting the local economy through procurement from regional enterprises, but also by investing in social projects targeted at communities within our area of influence. Requirements Requirements Minimum one (1) year of experience in Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, or Process Management within the mining, hydrocarbons, energy, and/or industrial sectors. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Engineering or related fields. Desirable: coursework, specialization, or diploma related to Operational Excellence, Process Improvement, or similar disciplines. Other Requirements and Qualifications Basic-level knowledge and/or experience developing analytical models and data science. Knowledge and/or experience implementing Lean Management practices. Proficiency in Python and SQL is mandatory. Proficiency in Power BI is mandatory. Intermediate-level proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) is mandatory. Desirable: knowledge of Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint, OneDrive). Desirable: knowledge of AZURE services. Desirable: knowledge of AI models, and desktop and mobile application development. Desirable: intermediate-level English proficiency. Desirable: valid Class AI driver’s license.
