Nursing Technician – Ophthalmology (Clinics \+ Operating Room) Oftalmo Vissum – Santiago de Surco, Lima Salary: Starting from S/ 1,200 per month (based on experience and evaluation) Employment Type: Full-time – In-person – Permanent Why work here? In Clinics Patient reception and orientation, vital signs measurement, assistance with visual acuity testing, and preparation for medical evaluation. Instillation of eye drops (pupil dilation/anesthesia) and periocular antisepsis per protocol. Assistance with basic examinations and basic operation of clinic equipment (autorefractor, non-contact tonometry, keratometry). Preparation/organization of examination rooms, equipment cleaning, supply traceability, and documentation in electronic health records. Nursing Technician with completed studies. Preferred: 6–12 months of experience in healthcare clinics and/or surgical centers/operating rooms. Experience in ophthalmology is a plus (not mandatory). Knowledge of biosafety, sterilization, and safe patient handling. Attitude: warm and empathetic communication, gentle hands, organizational skills/punctuality, effective communication, proactivity, adherence to protocols, and ability to work under pressure.
